About Us

History
Hässelby Blommor is a family company with a history that has grown over a century and three generations. We are often asked why we are called Hässelby Blommor. When the company was founded, we wanted to show our link to our own market garden in Hässelby, which at that time, during the early years of the 20th century, was the centre for horticulture in the Stockholm area. The company's founder, Johan Reinhold Johansson, established his market garden here in 1915.

Today
Today, our business concept is to offer our services to other companies, in the form of pleasant green surroundings, in and outside of the office, as well as floral decorations for all events.

Our horticultural centre
Our 2500 square meter horticultural centre is unique. Here you can always find a large assortment of plants, both for short-term hire and permanent interior landscaping. 

Our area of operations
Hässelby Blommor's main area of operations includes, Greater Stockholm, Uppsala, Södertälje and Mälardalen. You can also entrust us at other locations in Sweden, where we work with subcontractors.

Hässelby Blommor is owned and run by the Hargeson family, with Åsa Hargeson-Utas as the MD.

We are affiliated to Interflora and we arrange for flowers to be delivered worldwide.

Hässelby Blommor is a member of Stockholm's Chamber of Commerce and was one of four companies in the region to be awarded the Chamber of Commerce's World Class Price in 2008.
